Biography Juozas Cernius, (born in London, Canada, in 1976) is a documentary and fine art photographer. He has a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In New York City, he worked as a freelance commercial photographer for several years, where his photographs appeared as advertisements and editorial content in numerous international publications, including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor and Wallpaper* Magazine, amongst others. He has also exhibited artwork in the United States (venues including the Dumbo Art Center in Brooklyn, the Central Utah Art Center, and Denise Bibro Gallery in New York) as well as in Canada (with a solo exhibition at Articule Gallery in Montreal). He is a contributor to AFC, Paddy Johnsons well known New York based blog about contemporary art.
